Robert
L. Bradshaw International Airport (SKB)
Unified Supply has been awarded a project at Robert
L. Bradshaw International Airport (SKB) in St.
Kitts, West Indies. The system includes two ticket
counters and run-out belts feeding two in-line
baggage scanning devices. SKB officials need
a system designed and installed before their
busy tourism season begins in November. Unified
Supply will provide a solution on a limited budget
that will be completely online ahead of the airport’s
deadline.
West Palm Beach (PBI)
Long-time customer E.R.M.C. engaged Unified
Supply for several projects in the summer of
2005 to raise
existing carousels in the West Palm Beach (PBI) bag
room they manage. For ergonomic and safety reasons,
the airlines at PBI wanted higher carousels for their
baggage handlers to pull from when loading tugs headed
to departing planes. In addition, Unified Supply installed
its 3000 Series Queue Belt Conveyor to provide a direct
feed between the scanning devices and the carousels.
The first series of projects is complete, and the additional
work will be completed by the end of October.
Huron Regional Airport (HON)
Unified Supply will be completing a project this
fall in Huron Regional Airport (HON) in South Dakota.
The system installed will be a small carousel for this
growing airport. A quality baggage conveyor system
will allow HON to provide a facility capable of attracting
new carriers.
Albert J. Ellis Airport (OAJ)
Our project at Albert J. Ellis Airport (OAJ) for
Onslow County, North Carolina, completed successfully
in May. The system consisted of multiple ticket counters
and run-out belts and was completed on time and on
budget including detailed Operation and Maintenance
Training and Manuals.
